Hello World!

I am a passionate IT-professional, who initiated my career at the beginning of the millennium, and since then have been working hard and focused on staying relevant!

For the last 25 years I have been employed in the IT reseller and distribution business, as a technical expert, primarily focusing on datacenter infrastructures and public cloud platforms including all of the value creating solutions and services that this area can provide to a modern digitalized company.

I initially started my IT career by becoming one of the first Danish Microsoft Certified Professionals on Windows Server 2000 including their brand new Active Directory solution, in a time where the internet was in its very beginning and all technical training still was done with books and in classrooms.   

With these skills, I was fortunate to get my first IT job as a support technician, at a highly specialized datacenter distributor called Four Leaf. This company was later acquired and merged, into what today is Arrow ECS Denmark.

During my initial 10 years, at Arrow ECS, I advanced my skills and responsibilities from starting as a technical supporter, to becoming a specialist consultant and finally ending as a solutions architect, across multiple datacenter vendors and solution areas, providing all types of pre-sales assistance for their vendors, partners and customers, in the IT distribution channel.

Eventually I was headhunted by the company that I currently work at, and now have been employed with for more than 15 years. This company is called Atea, and we are one of the largest professional IT Resellers, in Europe. At Atea I initially was tasked with assisting a new business area, based on a newly acquired company previously called dmsave, with integrating and scaling out their backup service business focus – into the parent (Atea) company’s complete portfolio of solution sales and service possibilities.

Our backup service is now one of the most trusted and successful services, across the entire Atea Group, and is the last-line-of defense for thousands of private and public companies – of all sizes and industries. Throughout the years our fully managed backup service portfolio has been expanded to support both on-premises, remote, hybrid and in-cloud architecture deliveries – of which I am very proud, to have been a central part in achieving.

For the past 10 years I have been working, across multiple IT business areas, as a commercial and technical business transformation and enablement specialist. My focus is primarily, and always has been, to find a way to map valuable and relevant solutions or services with best practices and competences – and then create repeatable deliverables based on the current IT market trends and demands.

Currently – I am ‘all in’ on public Cloud & AI platforms and services, which has been a fascination of mine, ever since I logged-in to the amazing possibilities of Microsoft Azure for the first time, back in 2015.  In this area I am continuing to focus on helping our customers achieve their potential, through digital innovation and empowerment, by helping them migrate and modernize their digital estate on secure adaptive/hybrid infrastructures and assisting with the development of artificial intelligence platform solutions, that can transform their business ambitions – and through this dedication is honored to be recognized as an Microsoft Most Valuale Professional (MVP).
